Stevens Construction has completed construction management services for two club enhancement projects at The Sanctuary Golf Club located on Wulfert Road on Sanibel Island, announced company president Mark Stevens.
Completed ahead of schedule, the project included construction of a new 6,000-square-foot fitness facility and sports pool. The fitness center features an equipment room, group exercise studio, massage therapy suites, and a new sports pool to accommodate water aerobics classes and lap swimming. The former tennis center was demolished.
Stevens Construction provided interior finish upgrades to the existing 50,000-square-foot clubhouse and renovated the outdoor dining patio.
Construction occurred while the clubhouse remained in operation. Stevens Construction carefully phased the project to minimize disruption to The Sanctuary members.
The Stevens Construction team included project manager, Mike Brooks; project administrator, Terri Sobeck; and Jim Ruby, superintendent. Architectural services were provided by Amy Nowacki Architect, LLC, with interior design by Susan Bardin of Peacock & Lewis Interiors.
