Bay Colony Golf Club announces the appointment of Michael Bradfield as General Manager effective May 21. His extensive years of experience in the club industry will continue Bay Colony Golf Club’s reputation as one of the most prestigious, private golf clubs in the Florida.
Bradfield brings over 20 years’ experience in managing private member owned country clubs, along with extensive background in food and beverage management and club governance. He also has expertise in strategic planning, hospitality management and club communications.
Bradfield has been the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Countryside Golf and Country Club in Naples, Florida, for the last ten years. During his tenure at Countryside, he developed and restructured a strategic plan for the club and led in the development, design and construction of a $5+ million renovation. Bradfield’s prior club experience includes the Ridges Golf and Country Club in Jonesborough, TN; Ridgeway Country Club in Memphis, TN and Wedgewood Country Club in Westerville, OH.
Bradfield is a certified club manager and a certified chief executive. This designation was developed to recognize those managers who have shown the ability to successfully serve in the most senior management capacity in a club. He serves on the Florida Club Manager’s Association Board of Directors.
