Chico’s FAS has been designated a 2020 Women on Boards Winning Company for having 20 percent or more of its board seats held by women. Female directors comprise 44 percent of Chico’s FAS’ board seats. In addition to the impressive representation on its board, 81 percent of Chico’s FAS’ executive committee is female.

2020 Women on Boards is a non-profit, grassroots campaign committed to increasing the percentage of women who serve on company boards to 20 percent or greater by the year 2020. According to 2020 Women on Boards, the number of women on public company boards sits at just 19.7 percent.
Chico’s FAS, through its brands Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma, is a leading omni-channel specialty retailer of women’s private branded, sophisticated, casual-to-dressy clothing, intimates and complementary accessories. As of January 28, the Fort Myers-based company operated 1,501 stores in the US and Canada and sold merchandise through franchise locations in Mexico.
