Conditioned Air Company of Naples today announced the promotion of Tim Dupre to the position of president and chief executive officer. Dupre will assume the CEO responsibilities from long-time Conditioned Air CEO and Partner Theo Etzel, III, who will provide continued leadership to the company as Chairman.
“This announcement is the culmination of several years of discussion, strategic planning, leadership development and execution,” Etzel said. “Tim is a partner in Conditioned Air and is the perfect person to take over the helm. He shares our dedication to ethical business practices and employee empowerment and will do a wonderful job in continuing to grow this organization. Tim actually has been handling the responsibilities of the role of CEO for the past two years. He is a young man who truly has earned this promotion.”
Conditioned Air is the region’s largest air-conditioning contracting and service firm with more than 345 employees across Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties.
A 20-year veteran of Conditioned Air, Dupre learned the basics of general construction working for his grandfather who was a local contractor. He joined Conditioned Air after high school and worked his way up through the firm working on several different types of projects like custom homes, multi-family, light commercial and production housing.
In 2011, Dupre was promoted to General Manager of the firm’s Sarasota Division which has experienced tremendous growth, boosting its local employment from less than 10 initially to 56 today. Dupre has served as President and Chief Operating Officer since 2015 working closely with Etzel on a number of strategic and growth initiatives.
“I am thankful to Theo for his vision in building the company’s culture and brand,” Dupre said. “I look forward to further building upon our proud tradition of behaving with honesty, integrity and respect and providing the highest possible standard of service.”
