This two-day event is co-sponsored by the Lutgert College of Business and the SBDC, both of FGCU and designed for IT personnel as well business owners, executives and managers that are involved in cybersecurity. Businesses that attend will better comprehend cybersecurity and develop & implement optimal cybersecurity plans. The course is based on the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) framework.
At the end of the training, attendees will better able to:
• Develop action plans for securing information
• Assess their business’ cybersecurity health and preparedness
• Identify cybersecurity risks and threats
• Know the right cyber incident response
The two instructors are a VP of Cybersecurity at Wells Fargo and the CIO at Naples Community Hospital.
The Academy will be held on Wednesdays, March 20th and April 3rd from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Emergent Technologies Institute of FGCU off Alico Rd. The fee is $125 which includes continental breakfast, lunch and important take-aways.
