Dr. Debbie Psihountas leads the largest School at FSW, with a variety of academic programs at the certificate, Associate, and Baccalaureate levels. Prior to assuming the role of Dean at FSW, Dr. Psihountas was a tenured full professor (Finance), MBA Director, Chair, and held other leadership roles at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
She holds a BS in International Business (Bowling Green State University), and the MBA (Quantitative Analysis) and Ph.D. (Finance) from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Psihountas was recognized as one of St. Louis’ Most Inclusive Leaders in 2009, and as a Woman of Achievement by the University of Missouri St. Louis Hellenic Spirit Foundation, in addition to being named “Student Advisor of the Year” at Webster and a YMCA “Woman Leader of the Year,” among other honors.

Psihountas has shown an unrelenting commitment to the central tenets of higher education as an academic leader. Her research has centered on diversity, human capital investment, and pedagogy. She led Webster’s largest academic program at Webster, offered at more than 7 dozen sites. She has taught in Austria, Thailand, Bermuda, London, China, and Mexico, and has led student initiatives in Guatemala and Ecuador.

Dr. Psihountas has consulted with numerous corporations, and currently works with the Union Pacific Corporation on leadership training initiatives. She is a prior million-dollar sales producer, consultant, Series-7 licensed stockbroker, and corporate manager, having worked for such prestigious firms as NCR, Procter & Gamble, Merrill Lynch, Westinghouse, and DDI, among others.
