The SWFRTP’s own Kevin Barnhill, and Jon Boynton will lead this Raspberry Pi educational event. Sponsored by the SWFRTP, Gannett Foundation and Hodges University. It will be an instructor-lead, hands-on, building, configuring and testing event! Attendees will be allowed to keep their Pi. Only one Pi per member.

Raspberry Pi is the hottest selling computer in the world! Come and learn about the operating system that is revolutionizing small computers, from smart phones to the internet of things. In the class you will learn how to build and program your own Raspberry Pi (Linux) home media server, so you can stream movies, videos, pictures, music, and podcasts to your TV.

Pc’s and Mac’s will be made available, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops. Space is limited to 20 attendees per session.

This event is only for SWFRTP members. If you are not a member, you can become a member on the front page of the www.SWFRTP.org website. Memberships are $45 and $20 for students.

We are offering two sessions; 10:00 to Noon and Noon to 2:00 PM
