“The first Oktoberfest was held in 1810 in honor of a royal Bavarian marriage, and the celebration has been repeated with prolonged festivities ever since,” said Founder Kyle Cebull. “This year, here in our corner of the world, the Mayor of the City of Fort Myers will tap the first keg of Oktoberfest beer, and visitors will then be allowed to quench their thirst. This is Millennial Brewing’s way of recreating a timeless tradition of savory beverages, meals and a most memorable occasion.”
