There is a lot of talk about leveraging relationships. But what does that really mean? How can we realistically and methodically generate economic opportunities from the networks we are building?

We’re excited to announce that the keynote speaker for this year’s event will be JD Gershbein, Founder and CEO of Owlish Communications. The name JD Gershbein has become synonymous with experiences geared toward developing thought leadership and generating business wins. Drawing on his background in psychology and neuroscience, JD’s game-changing insights into personal branding and social networking create true competitive advantage. Known for his engaging stage presence, JD consistently leaves his audiences wanting more. He designs compelling, takeaway-intensive learning experiences that are infused with storytelling and tinged with his signature wit and humor. As a TEDx speaker, a contributing writer for The Huffington Post, Forbes, NBC, and SUCCESS Online and the host of his own soon-to-be-launched Internet TV talk show, JD leads by example, catalyzing others to step up and embrace their uniqueness.

 The Epic Encounter is the ESOA’s major annual fundraising dinner. First launched in 2013 when we introduced the Hatchlings Scholarship Fund program, with the goal to provide mentoring and scholarships for young and budding entrepreneurs and inventors in the region’s elementary, middle and high schools.

In 2017 we launched the ESOA Hatchlings Scholarship Fund managed by our friends at the Community Foundation of Collier County Funds raised through the Epic Encounter help support the program. Join us and help us reach our goal this year is to raise $10,000.
