JKMilne Asset Management has been added to Pensions & Investments’ (P&I) largest annual money managers special report for the 10th consecutive year, announced President John Milne.
The international newspaper of money management profiled more than 580 of the largest managers of U.S. institutional tax-exempt assets, ranking JKMilne in the 464th spot on a list that was published at PIOnline.com/ResearchCenter on May 28th.
“To appear on the same list as the all-powerful BlackRock and Vanguard confirms just how much our company is growing, evolving and making a difference,” Milne said. “Numbers never lie, and ours tell a story of decades of consistent efforts and unwavering values.”
The 2018 Largest Money Manager Ranking is the 45th report to detail qualified respondents’ worldwide assets. P&I targeted more than 900 banks, trust companies, insurance companies and independent investment management firms in North America and abroad. P&I staff developed data from the firms’ answers to an online questionnaire and through follow-up emails and phone calls. Pensions & Investments is associated with Crain, one of the largest privately owned business media companies with 54 leading business, trade and consumer brands in North America, Europe and Asia.
For the first time, P&I surveyed the top ten firms that reported assets above $1 trillion. Worldwide assets under management totaled $67.57 trillion overall as of December 31st. Worldwide institutional assets were a combined $45.25 trillion, highly influencing the survey. Now, full profiles of all ranked money managers, as well as complete searchable, interactive listings by asset class and investment strategy are available online. An online special report focusing on investment outsourcing is slated to be published on Monday, June 25th, while managers of defined contribution assets will be published on Monday, July 23rd. A third report will go live in October.
