Coastal Outfitters, a Sanibel Island-inspired active outfitting company, opened its first Bonita Springs location on March 1 at Promenade at Bonita Bay. Located at 26821 South Bay Drive, Suite 118, the store operates Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Known for luxury outdoor wear, fishing apparel, tackle and gear, and art and home décor items, the store is the third of its kind in Southwest Florida, following stores in Fort Myers’ Port Sanibel Marina and Captiva.
Coastal Outfitters offers the latest trends in outdoor clothing. Resort wear ranges from Robert Graham to Tommy Bahama. This location also includes high-quality and award-winning fishing gear and tackle, with brands such as St. Croix, Van Staal, G. Loomis, Yeti and Fin-Nor. These brands serve experienced and serious anglers, as well as those seeking comfortable casting and the toughest reels on the market.
The newest custom jewelry line that the store carries is Les Georgettes, an innovative and patented concept from Paris. The products are embellished with interchangeable and reversible leather, which offers customers a wide range of options in terms of finish and color. Women can custom match their outfit or bag by simply switching or reversing the colored leather bands.
Customers can also purchase art and original paintings from artists like Steve Whitlock, Brendan Coudal and Carol McArdle. Whitlock specializes in pencil and acrylic fish illustrations, while Coudal creates saltwater game fish and cat cartoons, and McArdle depicts tropical landscapes, beaches, birds and turtles.
In addition to traditional Coastal Outfitters associates, the boutique will also have captains on-site to offer expert advice on purchases.
