Craig DeYoung, president of Charlotte State Bank & Trust, announced that Sara Perri has been promoted to assistant vice president. Perri, who manages the bank’s Charlotte Harbor office, will celebrate her 15th year with the Hometown Bank in November.
Perri started at the bank as a Teller Specialist at the Murdock office in 2002 and quickly rose to the position of Head Teller. She cross-trained as a Personal Banker and helped maintain operations of the branch retail staff while managing the many facets of teller operations. She became the manager of the Charlotte Harbor office in August of last year.
“Sara has done an outstanding job from day one,” DeYoung said. “She earned the trust and confidence of her customers and staff, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service.”
As Branch Manager, Perri is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Charlotte Harbor office, ensuring that high levels of service remain a priority. Her responsibilities include developing and training staff, recommending and reaching branch goals, reviewing loan applications, and keeping procedures up-to-date, among many other duties. She also pursues new business opportunities for the bank and participates in community events.
Perri completed the Dynamics of Supervision Series I and II classes at the Florida Gulf Coast University Office of Continuing Education in Punta Gorda. The series covers the roles and responsibilities of a supervisor, improving communication and coaching skills, time management, conflict resolution and more.
