Share your entrepreneurial successes, struggles

Southwest Florida Business Today (SWFBT) is dedicating its October FocusFeature to the entrepreneur. Share with us your latest entrepreneurial successes and struggles, lessons lived and learned. There is no charge for these guest column submissions.They run on a space-available basis. Please email them to editor@swfloridabusinesstoday.com. If by chance we are unable to run your submission in this issue we will do our best to run it in the November issue, which is our annual Anniversary edition, so your submission is also a good fit there. 
 
SWFBT offers business owners the opportunity to submit a guest column in every issue. Our readership is now more than 25,000 business professionals in the markets we currently serve: Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers and Cape Coral. We deliver 6500 copies to 700 business-to-business distribution points in those areas.           
                      
Guest column guidelines for this issue are as follows. First, we’re looking for original material. Second, it must have a local angle and be written for the business owner/operator. 

Third, we would like a 20-30 word “mini-bio” of the author, if it applies, and we will print that in addition to contact information. Since you may write about yourself/your company in this issue, the mini bio can be about you or your company, depending on how the piece is written and what you prefer. If you have a headshot we can use, that would also be appreciated. Or again, because of this issue’s theme, other company photos are also welcome. Photos should be high resolution, or a minimum of 200 dpi. The average guest column submission for this issue should be around 300 words. We also accept guest columns not specifically related to the themed FocusFeature every issue as well: let me know if you need the guidelines. 
 
Additionally, if you market products or services of importance to the entrepreneur, this is an ideal opportunity to market them to this audience as we enter fourth quarter and look towards 2019. Ad prices and sizes include:

  • Full page: $799 (10 in wide by 16 in high)
  • Half page: $525 (10 in wide by 8 in high or 5 in wide by 16 in high)
  • Quarter page: $319 (10 in wide by 4 in high or 5 in wide by 8 in high)
  • Eighth page: $199 (5 in wide by 4 in high or 2.5 in wide by 8 in high)
  • Sixteenth page: $119 (5 in wide by 2 in high or 2.5 in wide by 4 in high)
