Spiro & Associates Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Brand Architecture has hired Andy Kelly as senior creative director, leading a department responsible for developing advertising, marketing, public relations and branding campaigns for clients in nearly every industry throughout Southwest Florida and beyond.
Raised in West Central Pennsylvania, Kelly graduated as valedictorian and summa cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University’s advertising and public relations program at University Park.
Since 2001, he has held several copywriting, production and creative positions. Kelly worked in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Fort Wayne, Indiana; State College, Pennsylvania; Las Vegas, Nevada, where he studied improvisation comedy at The Second City; and most recently, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with jobs at MARC USA and MASSIVE Creative, a full-service marketing agency and full commercial production house respectively.
With 17-plus years of professional experience in digital, television and print branding, Kelly has largely contributed to campaigns for Wolfgang Puck, Comcast, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Krystal, Rite Aid, Pennsylvania Lottery, MGM Grand, Del Monte Foods, Chick-fil-A, Moen, Rita’s Italian Ice, Heinz and Fruit of the Loom, among many others.
“Andy’s credentials speak for themselves — diverse, national campaigns in cities both big and small,” said Christopher T. Spiro, CEO/Chief Creative Officer. “As we move into the next phase of award-winning ideas, we look forward to seeing his impressive work on our client advertising and branding.”
Kelly studied and speaks conversational Japanese and is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist, as well as a black belt in Isshinryu karate. He currently lives in Fort Myers, where the Spiro & Associates national headquarters is located.
