BIOPITCH is BioFlorida’s pitch competition for seed and early-stage life science companies—providing innovative startups with a unique platform to connect with and pitch to top life science investors at the Florida Innovation Conference. Applications for BIOPITCH 2026 close Friday, Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. EST.
$100,000. Three Opportunities to Win.
And this year, there’s $100,000 in prizes across three BIOPITCH categories:
- FLORIDA PREMIER | $60,000 prize | Innovative life science companies headquartered in, incorporated in and/or registered to do business in Florida.
- EMERGING FLORIDA | $30,000 PRIZE | Entrants from Florida universities, incubators or research institutes.
- FUTURE FLORIDA | $10,000 PRIZE | Companies headquartered outside of Florida

Selected BIOPITCH companies will have the opportunity to:
- PITCH TO INVESTORS – Present your company and investment opportunity to life science investors, including venture capitalists and angel investors.
- GAIN EXPOSURE – Finalists will take the stage during the Florida Innovation Conference General Session.
- MAKE CONNECTIONS – Connect with investors, industry leaders and members of Florida’s life sciences ecosystem.
- COMPETE FOR $100,000 IN PRIZES – Winners will be announced at the Florida Innovation Conference.
