Attorney Denise B. D’Aprile has joined Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. (GBCR&P) as a partner. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of personal injury law, and will work out of the firm’s Port Charlotte office.
D’Aprile obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of South Florida – Tampa, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. After graduating law school, she worked for a private insurance defense firm before moving on to the Public Defender’s Office, 20th Judicial Circuit. D’Aprile then worked for a mid-sized firm handling personal injury/commercial litigation/foreclosures and bankruptcy until opening her own firm in 1993, Denise B. D’Aprile, P.A. in Port Charlotte, where she has been a sole practitioner until joining GBCR&P.
D’Aprile has been admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida since 1989, and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She was appointed to serve on the Standing Committee for Professionalism, through the Florida Bar and is past chairperson of three subcommittees, past treasurer of the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers; a member of the Charlotte County Bar Association, Lee County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. D’Aprile is also a member of the Southwest Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Golden Halo Committee honoring Christian teachers from Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties.
