CBIA names Deanna Monastiero its Director of Programs and Events

The Collier Building Industry Association has named Deanna Monastiero director of programs and events, where she will oversee the planning and execution of the association’s educational, networking and industry events.

Monastiero brings experience in event planning, marketing, business operations, training and community outreach. She will work closely with CBIA members, committees, sponsors and community partners to coordinate the association’s year-round programming.

“Deanna brings a valuable combination of organization, creativity, industry knowledge and hands-on event experience to CBIA,” said Amelia Vasquez, executive officer of CBIA. “Our programs and events are an important part of the value we provide to our members, and her experience working with businesses, vendors, real estate professionals and community organizations will be an asset as we continue to strengthen our programming and member engagement.”

Monastiero previously served as director of operations for Nina Loves Naples, where she managed daily operations and transaction processes for a high-producing real estate team. She also oversaw branding, marketing, vendor relationships, digital communications and promotional initiatives.

Her Southwest Florida experience includes leadership roles with Keller Williams in Naples and Bonita Springs, where she managed office operations, staff and vendor relationships, agent onboarding and training, social media and community outreach. She also coordinated fundraising initiatives, social events and Keller Williams’ annual RED Day community service activities.

Earlier in her career, Monastiero served as marketing communications manager for Groupe SEB USA, supporting consumer brands including Rowenta and Krups. Her responsibilities included coordinating trade and consumer shows, corporate meetings and press events; managing marketing budgets and outside vendors; developing promotional materials; and overseeing digital, photography and video initiatives.

Throughout her career, Monastiero has also gained experience in budget management, marketing communications, email campaigns, sales presentations, public relations and vendor coordination. She has completed professional development in web content, copywriting and communications and is a licensed Florida Realtor.

“I’m excited to join CBIA and have the opportunity to work with its members and partners to create programs and events that bring our industry together,” Monastiero said. “I look forward to building on CBIA’s strong programming and creating experiences that provide value, strengthen relationships and support our local building industry.”
