London Bay Development Group announced the North Tower of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay has topped out, marking the completion of vertical construction on the second of two 22-story towers. Together, they comprise 224 residences and serve as the residential centerpiece of Saltleaf, the developer’s 500-acre coastal community and the largest project in the company’s more than 35-year history. This milestone builds on a year of momentum for Saltleaf, from the first tower’s grand opening in March to more than three-quarters of a billion dollars in total sales. Coastal Construction is managing the build of the North Tower, which is expected to be delivered in 2027.
“We have celebrated many milestones throughout the development of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, but topping out the North Tower is especially meaningful because we can now see the full scale of what we envisioned,” said Mark Wilson, CEO and President of London Bay Development Group. “With both towers now standing side by side, it is a powerful reflection of Saltleaf coming to life. This achievement belongs not only to our team at London Bay, but also to the dedicated construction teams, partners and community members whose craftsmanship, collaboration and belief in Estero Bay continue to shape this extraordinary destination.”
“Topping out is always a proud moment for our crews. It’s when months of planning, coordination and hard work become part of the skyline,” said Don Tatro, Vice President of Southwest Florida at Coastal Construction. “Reaching this milestone on the second Ritz-Carlton tower, alongside London Bay’s vision for Estero Bay, is truly a career highlight. This project is setting a new standard for luxury construction in Southwest Florida, and our team’s commitment to precision, quality and craftsmanship is reflected in every floor.”
Designed by globally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica, the cascading façades of the two towers draw inspiration from the tranquil coastal setting and integrate into the surrounding topography. Residences range from 2,628 to 3,885 square feet and offer two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts, each with a den, private elevator lobby and expansive terraces with panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf. Interiors by award-winning New York design studio Meyer Davis feature European-inspired cabinetry, premium Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, spa-style primary baths with freestanding soaking tubs, and generous closet and private on-floor storage. A collection of penthouses crowns the towers, featuring up to 13,630 square feet with outdoor terraces of up to 7,380 square feet.
The topping-out builds on a series of milestones across Saltleaf. Saltleaf Marina is now open to the public with 72 slips, a public boat ramp, 10 transient-use slips and a ship store, creating direct access to the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, the region’s barrier islands and the Gulf.
