Colgate-Tamblyn joins Fifth Third Bank

Cary Putrino, Naples city president of Fifth Third Bank and Managing Director of the Bank’s Florida Region, announced that Heidi Colgate-Tamblyn has been named senior vice president, director of Fifth Third Private Bank – Florida.  

Colgate-Tamblyn is responsible for managing Wealth Management Advisors and Private Bankers in our SW and SE Florida markets to help drive revenue growth and integrate all facets of the Private Bank experience, including Private Banking, Wealth Planning, Portfolio Management, Trust, Estate Settlement, Insurance, Credit and Cash Management.

“Heidi focuses on keeping the customer in the center of each innovative solution set. Her extensive experience and forward-thinking leadership will work to expand wealth management services,” said Putrino.

Colgate-Tamblyn brings deep experience and knowledge of both the industry and our region, having led wealth teams in markets in Southwest Florida and along the west coast of Florida for Synovus Bank, SunTrust, and Bank of America (formerly NationsBank).  As a former Fifth Third employee (2000-2005), Heidi is also familiar with the culture and structure of our organization. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California and has attended numerous industry institutes, including Cannon, Omega, Florida Trust School and Florida Graduate Trust School. She is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®), Certified Trust and Financial Analyst (C.T.F.A.), and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 66 and 24 securities licenses, as well as the Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity insurance license.

Heidi has resided in Ft. Myers since 1989 with her husband, a retired Banking Executive. She enjoys traveling, the arts and serving the SW Florida community through her involvement as a member of the Board of Directors and Past President for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, as well as her involvement in numerous local organizations.
