The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s South District (FDEP), is offering a free Storage Tanks Compliance program on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
It is highly recommended training for environmental consultants, utility employees, engineers, owners and operators of storage tanks, tank installers, educators and the public.
The guest speaker for the program is Philip Snyderburn, principal environmental specialist, Hazardous Waste and Materials Section, for the Collier County Public Utilities
His presentation will include issues related to Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs)
Underground Storage Tanks (USTs), Financial Responsibility (FR), Incidents/Discharge, Compliance Inspections
Nereida Hernandez, Environmental Specialist II, the Tanks Compliance Assistance Official for DEP’s South District Office will also take part in the training.
