5 Ways to Increase Engagement Now

By Scott, Briana, Serhii, Sierra – The Webdirexion Digital Marketing Team hello@webdirexion.com

We’re in this together…

Every client we talk to wonders what can be done to boost engagement and build business in these uncertain times. We hear you and are wondering the same thing, so as a digital marketing company, this is the first of a few emails to help you brainstorm ways to continue sales growth in these (and any) times.

  1. Virtual Gift Cards: Imagine customers wanting to gift a product or service for friends and family. With virtual gift cards, they can go to your site, pay for an item you offer and email the virtual card as a gift to their intended recipient. They can also print and bring the card into your brick and mortar store or to an event, etc.

  2. Sell Smart “Swag: Some clients are making printed and embroidered shirts, hats, and other items available (see our client, Camp Wa-RI-Ki store). Guess what? With J.I.T. (just in time printing) you have no inventory and no up front costs!

  3. Resellers: You can set up a system to reward resellers (often called “affiliates”) for your ecommerce items (products or services). We enabled this for a Scouting Council in Ohio for their scouts to sell Maple Syrup and Pancake mixes, then their Troop gets paid a commission from the Council.

  4. Subscriptions: One of the best things you can do as a business is sell product or service subscriptions. This brings repeat revenue you can count on. Restaurants can offer a subscription delivery service for a meal once a month or once a week. Hotels can offer options related to the breakfasts you serve… or… an annual stay plan.  What about a Dentist? Why not a teeth cleaning or whitening subscription?
  5. Lean Into a Recession: Both Google AND Facebook report that ad spending is down… way down. This is a double opportunity for you. Less of a competitive pack to stand out in, and lower advertising costs.
