FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 5, 2019) – B & I Contractors, a Florida based subcontracting and building services firm, welcomes the addition of Chad Fikes as a Design Build Engineer. In his role, he is responsible for estimation of design build, energy retrofit and HVAC remodel work as well as performing energy calculations, energy/feasibility studies and project design assistance for new and existing buildings.
Fikes comes to B & I with over 21 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the HVAC design/consulting field. His design work scope includes universities, hospitals, K-12 schools and multi-family housing. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a LEED Accredited Professional and New York State Professional Engineer.
