DeAngelis Diamond Awarded Tennessee Children’s Home
DeAngelis Diamond has been selected as the general contractor for Tennessee Children Home (TCH)’s 70,050-square-foot new campus project. Located on a 16-acre site, this children’s home consists of six group homes, classroom building, administration building, and director home. Additional features include a pool recreation center, new access bridge, and maintenance building.
TCH provides Christ-centered homes for children in hard places across Tennessee through compassionate on-campus homes and foster families. In addition to TCH, DeAngelis Diamond has built over 30 faith-based projects, totaling over $160 million, and has built for numerous non-profit organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, and St. Matthew’s House.
“Our Nashville office is honored to be Tennessee Children Home’s building partner for their campus relocation,” Nashville Division Manager, Joshua Rhodes, says. “TCH’s mission statement is very similar to DeAngelis Diamond’s, so there has been a natural synergy since the beginning of our relationship. They have been casting their vision of relocating their campus for many years and being a part of the team to make that vision a reality has been nothing short of fulfilling. DeAngelis Diamond recognizes how vital and important the TCH commitment to serving children of need in Tennessee is and we look forward to completing the project as quickly as possible so that TCH can share their new facilities and location with those children!”
