Morris-Depew’s Kyle Knight receives registration as a Professional Engineer
Morris-Depew Associates is pleased to announce that Kyle Knight, a Project Engineer with Morris-Depew since 2017, has received his registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). A graduate of the University of Florida, Knight possesses experience in residential, commercial, and transportation projects seeing them through the design, permitting, and construction phase.
“Accomplishing a P.E. certification is one of the highest goals for an engineer and the process is very extensive,” said Ryan Shute, PE, Director of Operations. “It requires passing rigorous exams and acquiring at least four years of professional experience. This next step in Kyle’s career will open up valuable opportunities for him to advance.”
As a Professional Engineer, Knight is responsible for designing various projects and plans for utilities, stormwater management, and transportation as well as preparing traffic impact analyses. Additionally, Knight assists fellow project team members with the permitting and construction phases necessary to bring a project to a successful completion.
“Kyle has continuously demonstrated a high degree of competency as one of our engineers, and we are excited to see him continue to apply his education and experience,” added Shute.
