Elite DNA Therapy Services expands staff

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 30, 2021) – Elite DNA, one of the largest mental health providers in Southwest Florida serving adults, children, individuals, and families who are facing a variety of mental health issues, recently added 36 staff across their 18 offices in Florida in order to manage pre-pandemic patients as well as newly diagnosed patients.

“The model we practice is a model that is comprehensive and multidisciplinary and is best reflected by the comprehensive expertise of a wide range of behavioral health professionals,” said Elizabeth Dosoretz, LCSW, and Elite DNA CEO. “Our clinical leaders provide expertise and we are continuing to grow and tailor our teams. The goal is to provide wraparound services to most effectively manage our patient’s needs. This patient centered goal necessitates collaborative and multi-tiered teams across our 18 office locations.”

Additional staff include therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, care coordinators, business development and implementation specialists, medical assistants, treatment plan coordinators, compliance assistants, behavioral health navigators, office leads and a director of culture and growth.

“Across all offices and markets, we are seeing higher acuity patients and a general high demand for services,” Dosoretz said. “Commonly, patients with mental illnesses also have chronic conditions co-occur.”

According to Dosoretz, physical and behavioral health challenges, coupled with the pandemic stressors and/or life stressors have demanded Elite DNA ramp up availability and the types of care they provide.

Additional and enhanced services include greater access to behavioral health, urgent care models and afterhours access, as well as more intense wraparound services.

“We continue to do what we do but with more clinicians, and with more eyes on some patients who are higher risk,” she said. “Additional clinicians provide a variety of services to match the diverse patient population and to ensure we appropriately match our patients levels of care, risk and acuity.”

With a staff of over 200, Elite DNA provides psychiatric evaluations, counseling, therapy, and mental health services and specialized treatment for children, including Applied Behavior Analysis, speech and occupational therapies.

Elite DNA is also one of the few places’ patients can receive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatment, a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve the symptoms of depression.
