NABOR Installs 2024 President and Board of Directors
Naples, Fla. – The Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) held its 74th Annual Installation Banquet to welcome the 2024 Board of Directors and Officers on Friday, December 1, 2023, at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort. Newly inducted Board President PJ Smith detailed her goals during an on-stage interview and conversation with the evening’s Master of Ceremonies Lauren Melo, Florida House Representative, NABOR® President 2020. As the leader of the local REALTOR® association, Smith’s priorities in 2024 include recognizing and celebrating the Board’s 75-year impact in Naples, and launching the NABOR® Charitable Foundation, which will focus on four areas: housing, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and educational scholarships.
Our 75th anniversary is not just about applauding past achievements, but also an opportunity to build on those accumulated achievements as they have provided us with the means through which we can create a better future,” said 2024 President Smith, the Broker/Owner of Naples Golf to Gulf Real Estate Services. “With a newly created charitable foundation, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Collier County, we can be assured that our fundraising efforts will grow in perpetuity to make even greater community impact in the future.
Chuck Bonfiglio, Florida Realtors® Treasurer 2023, proudly installed the following 2024 NABOR® officers: PJ Smith, President; Terrilyn VanGorder, President Elect; Christine Citrano, Vice President/Secretary; David Puskaric, Treasurer; and Directors: Nick Bobzien, Sara Brand, Christina Davidow, Shaun Garry, Amy Reinholdt, Marcie Roggow, and Izabela Wright.
Immediate Past President Nick Bobzien thanked the 2023 committee leaders and staff for their hard work during the year. He also recognized the support of NABOR®’s business partner members, who provide vital and valuable services to its REALTOR® members.
Blazing her legacy from day one, President Smith changed the traditional presidential speech at the podium and instead outlined her goals during a sit-down interview and conversation with Master of Ceremonies, Representative Lauren Melo. The intimate approach allowed President Smith to answer questions that invoked genuine, non-scripted responses. Rather than providing a speech under a spotlight, Smith’s casual interview changed the mood of the event and was an effective way to set the tone of her presidency.
