Stephanie Cole joins Crews Bank as retail banking officer, AVP

Crews Bank & Trust has named Stephanie Cole as Retail Banking Officer, AVP. Cole will oversee the day-to-day operations at the North Port branch, reporting to Craig DeYoung, Market President, SW Florida.

Originally from Indiana, Cole relocated to Florida in 2017 before briefly residing in Georgia in 2022. Returning to Florida in March 2024, she now calls Port Charlotte home.

With a diverse professional background, Cole brings invaluable experience to Crews Bank. Prior to her tenure in the banking sector, she owned a business in Indiana from 2003 to 2017, later transitioning to a retail store management position upon her relocation to Florida. Cole embarked on her banking career in 2018 as a universal banker at another financial institution. Most recently, she held the position of Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager in Savannah, Ga., before returning to Florida to join Crews Bank & Trust.

DeYoung expressed his enthusiasm for Cole’s appointment, stating, “Stephanie brings a stellar customer service background with her. Her experience dovetails nicely with our values, and we are fortunate to have her join our team.”

Outside of her professional life, Cole loves to spend time with her family and has been married to her best friend for 25 years. She affectionately refers to her five dachshunds – Beatrice, Harvard, Charlie, Sally, and Franklin – as her children. In her leisure time, Cole enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling.

“I love building relationships with my customers,” said Cole, “And I am looking forward to being involved with the community and growing our branch and hometown culture in North Port.”
