Kellie Pedersen joins Fun Time Early Childhood Academy as director

Fun Time Early Childhood Academy is excited to welcome Kellie Pedersen as the new Director of Development & Communications. In her role, Pedersen will oversee fundraising initiatives, strengthen donor and community relationships to further the Academy’s mission to provide high-quality, affordable early childhood education for children from low-income working families.

Pedersen holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and over 10 years of development and fundraising experience. She has successfully led campaigns for multiple organizations including Planned Parenthood and the Humane Society. Her expertise in fundraising and community outreach will be essential as Fun Time Academy continues to expand services across Collier County.

Pedersen’s passion for early childhood education is fueled by her firsthand experiences as a mother, a teacher, and a former preschool owner. She is deeply committed to helping families access the critical resources their children need to thrive. “We are thrilled to have Kellie join our team,” said Jessica Campbell, Executive Director of Fun Time Early Childhood Academy. “Her background in development and education combined with her dedication to our mission make her an invaluable asset.”
