Spiro & Associates’ Don Gross honored with American Advertising Federations’ Silver Medal Award

The Advertising Federation of Southwest Florida has awarded Spiro & Associates’ media director, Don Gross, with the distinguished Silver Medal Award at the 2025 American Advertising Awards. This prestigious honor, presented on Feb. 21 at the Millennial Brewing Company in the city of Fort Myers, recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advertising industry while actively advancing creative excellence, industry standards, and social responsibility.

Gross becomes the 26th recipient of the Silver Medal in the Southwest Florida area, further cementing Spiro & Associates’ legacy as the only agency in the region with two active Silver Medal winners. CEO Christopher T. Spiro previously earned this esteemed recognition in 1997, a testament to the firm’s longstanding commitment to advertising excellence and leadership.

“As the 2023 recipient of the honor, it was a pleasure to present the 2025 Silver Medal Honoree award to Don, who was selected by the past Silver Medal Honoree Committee, based upon his long-term involvement in the advertising industry in general, contributions to our community, and participation and involvement in our local Southwest Florida chapter of the American Advertising Federation.  Well-earned and well deserved, Don!”, expressed Tim Hardy.

With a mass media degree from Florida State University, Gross has dedicated 12 years to Spiro & Associates, where he has excelled as a media planner, director, and developing new business. His strategic insight and innovative approach have been integral to the agency’s continued growth and success.
