Lee & Associates and Capital Partners celebrate groundbreaking of Oriole Logistics Center
More than 20 guests gathered to celebrate the official groundbreaking of Oriole Logistics Center, a 442,000-square-foot Class A industrial development in Fort Myers. The event, hosted by the Lee & Associates Industrial team, marks a significant milestone in the continued expansion of the Southwest Florida logistics market.
The project, developed by Capital Partners and marketed exclusively by Lee & Associates, will rise at 16671 Oriole Road, just off the highly desirable Alico Road corridor. Once completed in Q4 2025, the Oriole Logistics Center will feature three dock-high buildings: one at 136,000 square feet and two at 153,000 square feet, with building depths ranging from 160 to 180 feet.
Bob Johnston from Lee & Associates, welcomed attendees and emphasized the strategic importance of the project: “This groundbreaking marks a unique opportunity to bring premier industrial space to a market that’s ready for growth,” Johnston said. “We’re proud to lead the leasing efforts for what will be one of Fort Myers’ top Class A parks.”
Joining the celebration was Peter Mork, from Capital Partners, who flew in from Minnesota to share his excitement for the firm’s Florida debut: “We are happy to start working in Florida, bringing the high standards Capital Partners is known for to a region with tremendous potential.”
Beyond the commercial significance of the project, the event also spotlighted community impact. Johnston invited Cort Norman of Hope Clubhouse to the podium to receive a $10,000 donation from Lee & Associates and Capital Partners. Hope Clubhouse is a Fort Myers-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals living with mental illness. The donation supports the organization’s upcoming expansion to meet growing community needs.
“Partnering with a local organization like Hope Clubhouse underscores our commitment to building not only real estate—but community,” said Johnston.
