Naples Beach Club Four Seasons Resort Naples crowned Suffolk’s Safest Construction Project

The Naples Beach Club, a  Four Seasons Resort, now under construction and managed by Suffolk, received the Safest Project Award in the company’s national competition at the Safety Award Celebration in early May. Since 2021, Suffolk has honored project teams that exemplify the company’s safety culture and go above and beyond to maintain a safe job site.

In the past 12 months, the project team maintained a total recordable incident rate (TRIR) of zero, working more than 500,000 hours without a single recordable incident.

Two national nominees vied for the title: the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, and The Brook in Brooklyn, N.Y. Representatives from the two teams traveled to Suffolk headquarters in Boston to present live and compete for the title at the Safety Awards Celebration. Finalists gave presentations and a live vote determined the 2025 Safest Project Award winner.

Suffolk is constantly exploring ways to ensure everyone goes home safely by predicting incidents before they happen. The proprietary Suffolk Predictive Safety Model is being used to flag safety risks on jobsites empowering teams to take preemptive action to mitigate safety incidents. The model has been shown to reduce safety incident rates through improved awareness of safety onsite.

This year also marked the launch of the Safest Trade Partner Award, recognizing trade partners who demonstrate excellence in safe work practices, collaboration, engagement, and education. Suffolk acknowledges the critical role trade partners play in maintaining a safe jobsite, celebrates their dedication, and reinforces partner’s unwavering commitment to safety.
