Del Mar welcomes new general manager and executive chef

Ryan Rohrer
The Mediterranean-inspired Del Mar, welcomes Ryan Rohrer as the new general manager and Phil Liesenfeld as the new executive chef.
Rohrer, a Columbus, Ohio native, is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s culinary arts program. He discovered his passion for the front-of-house role in the restaurant industry working for luxury brands in Boca Raton and Miami. In 2015, he returned to Columbus where he joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants as beverage manager for Mitchell’s Ocean Club. In 2021, he moved to Naples and became assistant general manager at Del Mar.
Also from Columbus, Liesenfeld first joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants more than 25 years ago after finishing culinary school at Ohio State. He then moved out west where he spent many years as a chef at fine dining restaurants before returning to Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. For the past 10 years, he has been traveling for Ocean Prime and serving in a variety of chef roles for their Columbus, Denver, Phoenix and Boston locations. After moving to Naples in 2022, Liesenfeld has been a chef at Del Mar and looks forward to taking on the role of executive chef once again.

Phil Liesenfeld
Rohrer and Liesenfeld take over these roles as former general manager Rick Giannasi and executive chef Alejandra Bringas transition to Cameron Mitchell’s newest concept, Prime Social Reserve. Prime Social Reserve is a new VIP dining concept debuting this fall in Naples. It is an exclusive dining, lounge and rooftop experience available by reservation only through VIP access plans.
“We’re excited about the new leadership at Del Mar in Naples,” said David Miller, president and COO, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. “Both Ryan and Phil are very talented, seasoned culinary associates. They are intimately familiar with the location, the team and the guests, and we look forward to their continued success leading Del Mar.”
