Laird A. Lile named to Best Lawyers in America for 29th consecutive year

Laird A. Lile, a board-certified wills, trusts and estates attorney in Naples, was selected through an extensive peer-review process for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2026 for his work involving trusts and estates. This year’s honor marks the 29th consecutive year Lile has been recognized as a Best Lawyer.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which almost 50,000 leading attorneys cast nearly 5 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”

Lile is currently serving his sixth term on the Florida Courts Technology Commission and is also a longtime member of the Florida Judicial Management Council. He previously served nine consecutive terms on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar, representing the 20th Judicial Circuit, which includes Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties.

Lile was inducted into Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame in 2010. He has also been named to Florida Trend’s 500 Most Influential Business Leaders for six consecutive years. Lile is a past chair of the Second District Court of Appeal Nominating Commission and the 11,200-member Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, where he has served as a two-term past Regent and state chair.
