Greater Naples Chamber appoints Adriana Buitrago to director of workforce initiatives

The Greater Naples Chamber is pleased to announce that Adriana Buitrago has been named director of workforce initiatives. In this role, Buitrago will support the Chamber’s efforts to advance workforce development, economic competitiveness and inclusive growth in Collier County.

We look forward to the positive impact she will make for our members and the region.”

As the director of workforce initiatives, Buitrago will collaborate across all sectors to align talent pipelines, support regional business development, and promote solutions that enable working families, businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive. She will also contribute to the Chamber’s strategic focus on attracting, retaining, and developing both talent and businesses.

Buitrago has more than 20 years of professional experience in Southwest Florida. Buitrago founded a successful consultancy company called Wanna Be Found, Inc. The company offers business planning, website design, marketing strategies and coaching services.

She previously served as director of the Hispanic Institute at Hodges University, as well as assistant to the university’s president. During her time at Hodges, Buitrago established the university’s grants department and secured $150,000 in private grants within one year. She also managed the university’s Spanish Conversation Program, offering free weekly opportunities for participants to practice Spanish. In addition, she created a six-week leadership program designed to equip middle managers from diverse cultural backgrounds with the tools and skills needed to reach their full potential and prepare for greater leadership roles.
