EDGE wins Grand Aurora Award for third consecutive year

EDGE, an award-winning interior design and custom cabinetry firm,  has been honored with the Grand Aurora Award for the third year in a row, receiving the recognition at the annual Aurora Awards in Orlando. The firm earned the grand award for best interior design of a custom/spec home priced over $1 million for its Quail West estate project.

The Aurora Awards, presented annually by the Florida Home Builders Association during the Southeast Building Conference, honor outstanding builders, planners, architects, developers, designers and other professionals involved in residential and commercial construction across 12 southeastern states and the Caribbean.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized again at this level,” said Adriene Ged, EDGE Interior Design Director. “To win a Grand Aurora three years running demonstrates the passion, creativity and craftsmanship of our entire team and to the clients who trust us to bring their visions to life.”

The 9,400-square-foot Quail West estate showcases a coastal-modern aesthetic with a floating staircase, European white oak flooring, two front balconies and black Andersen windows. The great room’s stepped drywall ceiling leads into the kitchen, which combines white and blackened mocha cabinetry with a butler’s pantry.

The club room, designed as the home’s focal point, includes a golf simulator and a custom bar with black and gold accents and floating glass shelves. The outdoor living area features an 11-by-6-foot plant wall paired with an infinity water fountain. The project also earned EDGE a Silver Award for Best Kitchen Design for a Custom/Spec/One of a Kind Home in recognition of the residence’s distinctive blend of functionality and sophistication.
