Hampton Inn & Suites to join Gulf Coast Town Center

LQ Commercial is pleased to announce the future arrival of Hampton Inn & Suites at Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers. Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. has purchased a 2.51-acre parcel within the center for $2,100,000 to develop the new hotel.

Southwest Florida continues to experience record-breaking tourism and population growth, fueling demand for additional hospitality options. In 2024 alone, Southwest Florida International Airport welcomed a record-setting 11 million passengers, highlighting the area’s growing appeal as both a travel destination and a thriving place to live.

Brett Low, Senior Associate at LQ Commercial, represented the seller in this transaction, GCTC PERIPHERAL IV. “For months, I’ve fielded a steady stream of inquiries for hotel space for this site. The only hurdle: the project’s zoning allowed no additional hotel density. With demand fueled by record tourism and the region’s rapid growth, rezoning this 2.51-acre site paves the way for Hampton Inn & Suites to meet that demand head-on.”

The site, located between Connors Steak & Seafood and LA Fitness at 17100 Royal Queen Blvd and 10066 Gulf Center Drive, will bring a highly recognized hospitality brand to the 1.2 million-square-foot regional mall. Gulf Coast Town Center is already home to a mix of retail, dining, and entertainment options.
