Industry Appreciation Awards to honor top businesses on Oct. 24

The Horizon Council, Horizon Foundation and Lee County Economic Development Office will host the 33rd Annual Industry Appreciation Awards at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, at Caloosa Sound Convention Center in Fort Myers.

The event starts with an hour of networking opportunities followed by an awards luncheon. The program and presentation will recognize 22 finalists across seven categories before declaring a winner in each category. Organizers expect more than 650 local business leaders, government officials and community leaders to attend the event. The seven award categories include:

  • Elevate Award
  • Start Up of the Year
  • Tech Catalyst Award
  • Small Manufacturer of the Year
  • Large Manufacturer of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Large Business of the Year
