Fort Myers’ Red Salon and Spa wins national “Salon ofthe Year” award

Fort Myers’ own Red Salon and Spa, located on Reflections Parkway, has been named one of the nation’s “Salons of the Year” by Modern Salon and Salon Today, two of the most respected publications in the beauty industry.

The annual Salons of the Year competition celebrates excellence in salon design, guest experience, innovation, and community involvement. Red Salon and Spa was honored as a Salon of Distinction, placing it among the highest scoring salons in the United States and recognizing its exceptional design, advanced education culture, and long standing impact on Southwest Florida.

Celebrating at the National Awards in Nashville

Owner Kathleen Cantu accepted the honor at the Salons of the Year Awards ceremony in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 2. She was joined by Clint Thornton, general manager and Sommer Leatherwood, master stylist and the salon’s longest serving employee, whom Cantu personally trained more than 25 years ago.
