Avow appoints Anna Gloth as Vice President of Program Development

Avow has appointed Anna Gloth as Vice President of Program Development, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to disciplined clinical governance, scalable care models, and evidence-based decision-making across its care continuum.

In this role, Gloth oversees clinical program strategy and operations across Avow Care Services, adult bereavement services, and the Avow Kids grief and loss program. She also provides executive leadership for Avow’s physicians and advanced practice providers, with responsibility for clinical standards, quality oversight, and alignment between care delivery and organizational objectives.

Gloth brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including over a decade in adult and geriatric advanced practice. Her career spans hospice and palliative care, post-acute care, internal medicine, and telehealth, with senior leadership experience in multi-state, compliance-driven care environments. She has led initiatives in healthcare consulting, digital clinical tool implementation, and the design of operational frameworks that balance quality outcomes with cost effectiveness.

Her approach emphasizes system reliability, interdisciplinary coordination, and patient-centered care delivery, ensuring that clinical programs are both compassionate and operationally sound.

Gloth holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University of St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Accelerated Program, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Criminalistics from The George Washington University. She maintains board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds Advanced Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing. Her appointment reflects Avow’s continued investment in leadership that integrates clinical excellence, operational discipline, and long-term organizational stewardship.
