Bonita Springs Utilities announces board of directors

Bonita Springs Utilities Inc. members re-elected Paul J. Attwood, Brian Farrar and James Murphy to its board of directors. Election results were announced during the utility’s annual meeting.

BSU members elect three fellow members each year for a three-year term. Six candidates ran for three open board seats.
BSU mailed 27,665 ballots, and the Survey & Ballots Systems, an independent election company, counted 2,673 valid returned ballots. Elected to three-year terms, Attwood received 2,033 votes, Farrar received 1,986 votes and Murphy received 1,798 votes.

Other board members are Robert Bachman, Wayne Bauman, Richard Garner, Lawrence Kosilla, Mike Malloy and Vincent J. Marchesani. The board of directors holds a public meeting at 5 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. In addition, each board member serves on various subcommittees and task groups, working with the utility’s management and staff.
