LQ Commercial welcomes Kimberly Kneier to its Florida team
LQ Commercial welcomed Kimberly Kneier, who will extend LQ’s retail services to Florida’s East Coast.
Kneier, is a seasoned corporate retail real estate representative with 30 years of success in portfolio optimization, site selection, acquisitions / dispositions and complex negotiations. Specializing in Florida’s East Coast, she has built an extensive network throughout the retail and restaurant industry.
Kneier has expanded markets for numerous regional / national brands like Pizza Hut, KFC, Dunkin, Supercuts, Dennis Uniforms, Massage Envy, Rossopomodoro and The Joint Chiropractic.
She has held senior real estate development roles with major restaurant brands, Jason’s deli and Ruby Tuesday.
At Jason’s deli, she oversaw a 12-state corporate expansion through site selection, development, relocations, lease negotiations and market planning.
With Ruby Tuesday, she led several strategic initiatives to strengthen corporate cash flows. This ranged from lease buyouts to rent reductions, surplus dispositions and renewal programs. She also oversaw restaurant conversions of select, existing Ruby Tuesday sites into Marlin & Rays, Jim N Nick’s, Truffles, and Lime Fresh Mexican Grill.
Kneier began her career with Horne Properties, specializing in large-scale retail developments and shopping center projects in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. During this time, she worked with retailers like Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Publix, PetSmart and OfficeMax.
She is a dually-licensed Real Estate Broker in both Florida and North Carolina, and continues to be active in both regions today. She is also a designated North Carolina “Broker-in-Charge” (BIC).
She is a 30-year member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), serving two terms as its Tennessee Chair.
