Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers hires Kim Grabert as COO
The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers has announced Kim Grabert as its chief operating officer.
In this role, Grabert will oversee day-to-day operations and advance strategic initiatives for the Housing Authority. She will work alongside her team to successfully implement key programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Family Self-Sufficiency Program and Neighborhood Stabilization Program, while also overseeing asset management, resident services, human resources, information technology and maintenance.
Grabert brings nearly 30 years of experience in operations and human resources within the child welfare field. Previously, she has worked as a child protective investigator for the Florida Department of Children and Families, the statewide director of human trafficking prevention and most recently served as the assistant commissioner of regional operations for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.
Grabert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in justice from American University and a master’s degree in public administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.
