Kensington Golf & Country Club welcomes Detaille as its new General Manager

Kensington Golf & Country Club is pleased to welcome José E. Detaille  as its new general manager. In this role, he is responsible for leading all phases of operations in the full-service country club, including administration, financial management, food and beverage, golf and tennis, and other member services.

Detaille is a top performing club executive with nearly two decades of senior level hospitality leadership experience, most recently serving as Assistant General Manager at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. Prior to that, he was Director of Operations/Resort Manager for the Auberge Resorts Collection, Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas.

Before launching his country club career, Detaille served in multiple roles with the Four Seasons luxury hotel chain in Denver, Colorado; Beverly Hills, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and Doha, Qatar. He also has professional experience in countries such as China, The Netherlands, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica, Spain and more.

Detaille holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality and finance from Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland. He also earned a three-year diploma in hotel management from Les Roches. In 2025, he earned his Certified Club Manager designation from the Club Management Association of America.
