Corey McCloskey named to HousingWire’s 2026 Women of Influence
Corey McCloskey, president of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, has been named to HousingWire’s 2026 Women of Influence, a national award recognizing 100 women whose leadership is shaping the housing industry.
Now in its 17th year, the Women of Influence program honors executives and industry leaders across mortgage, real estate and homebuilding who are driving growth, innovation and operational excellence. Honorees were selected by HousingWire’s editorial team and a panel of industry professionals based on professional accomplishments, industry leadership, community involvement and overall influence.
“Corey’s recognition by HousingWire reflects the extraordinary leadership she brings to our company and to the real estate industry,” said Phil Wood, CEO of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate. “Her vision, operational expertise and commitment to service, ethics and philanthropy are core reasons we remain Southwest Florida’s most dominant brokerage. We are very proud of this well-deserved honor.”
McCloskey has spent more than 20 years with John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, serving in roles spanning sales, education and operations before being named president in 2024. Her broad experience has helped shape a culture of accountability, performance and professional growth across an organization of more than 900 agents and staff.
Under McCloskey’s leadership, the firm achieved more than $4.3 billion in closed sales volume in 2025 through 4,252 residential transactions, surpassing its nearest competitor by nearly $1 billion and marking the fifth consecutive year the company has led Collier and Lee counties in residential sales.
McCloskey’s influence extends beyond Southwest Florida. She was named to the 2026 Swanepoel Power 200, ranking No. 115, and The Naples 100 (2025), which recognizes the region’s most influential leaders. She also has spoken at global, national, regional and local industry events, including Florida Realtors, the Christie’s International Real Estate Owners Conference, T3 Sixty, Local Logic and the Naples Area Board of Realtors.
McCloskey previously served as president of the Naples Area Board of Realtors and as Florida Realtors District Five vice president. She remains active nationally through involvement with the National Association of Realtors and Florida Realtors committees. In 2022, she was named NABOR Realtor of the Year in recognition of her professionalism and commitment to elevating industry standards.
“Being named to HousingWire’s Women of Influence is a tremendous honor, and one I share with the incredible team at John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate,” McCloskey said. “Everything we’ve accomplished reflects the agents, staff and leaders across our organization who show up every day committed to serving our customers and our community with excellence. Southwest Florida is a remarkable market, and I’m grateful to play a role in shaping its future.”
HousingWire will celebrate the 2026 Women of Influence later this year.
