Crews Bank & Trust welcomes John Coppa as retail banking officer

Coppa has more than 20 years of leadership, training and customer experience expertise in retail and banking. In his role, he will lead branch operations, coach and develop team members, strengthen client relationships and deliver exceptional customer experience to align with Crews Bank & Trust’s community-focused values.
“We looked hard to find someone who would be the perfect fit for our Gulf Cove branch,” shared Joseph Cataldo, Area President, Englewood-Boca Grande Market. “With John’s experience and leadership background, we knew immediately he was an excellent match, and I am excited for the future of this branch.”
Before joining Crews Bank & Trust, Coppa held branch management and assistant vice president roles with financial institutions in New England. He has spent the past nine years in education, supporting classroom instruction and broadening his experience in training and development.
Originally from Rhode Island, Coppa has lived in Florida for nearly a decade. He holds two Associate of Science degrees from the Community College of Rhode Island, attended Rhode Island College, and is currently continuing his education at the University of South Florida. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, including Florida’s beaches and home landscape projects.
“Training and development are a great passion of mine,” said Coppa. “I’m excited to begin this new chapter and contribute to Crews Bank & Trust while supporting our customers and community.”
