Air Trek, Inc. Captains to Receive Prestigious Safety Award

Punta Gorda, FL October 5, 2020 – Air Trek’s captains, Bruce Monnier and Gerald Downs, will be receiving a prestigious safety award from the National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) on Wednesday October 7, 2020 (11 am – 12 pm).  The flight crew will be recognized for their handling of an in-flight emergency that resulted in a safe outcome for all involved.  This is the first year for the “Above and Beyond Airmanship Award” is being presented and Air Trek is proud to have the first recipients of this award on staff.

The Safety Town Hall – LIVE will be held
Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 11 AM -12 PM.
 
The town hall will feature living legends John and Martha King, of the King Schools, and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Safety Foundation Richard McSpadden, peering through the windscreen to discuss emerging safety trends with aviation’s premiere journalist, Miles O’Brien. The event will also recognize excellence in aviation safety, including the presentation of NBAA’s new Above and Beyond Airmanship Award.
