Allied Home Watch of Estero earns sixth-year accreditation from the National Home Watch Association

ESTERO, FL—Allied Home Watch has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the sixth year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org/). Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.

Jason and Melissa McGarvey have been on both sides of the Home Watch relationship. Hailing from the Great Northwest, they owned property in Southwest Florida for a decade before moving here permanently. They learned from experience just how crucial having a professional Home Watch company was. So, when they moved to Southwest Florida on a full-time basis, Jason and Melissa knew what they wanted to do.

Jason comes from the construction industry, with over 16 years’ experience as a construction project manager, which required both new and existing construction knowledge. Both he and Melissa have years of rental property ownership/management experience as well. Combined with their passion for the Southwest Florida area, the Home Watch profession stood out as a great fit. So, they started Allied Home Watch and immediately joined the NHWA.

Both Jason and Melissa have earned the designation of NHWA Certified Home Watch Professional. The CHWP designation shows their commitment to providing excellent service to their clients. Jason is also an instructor for the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp training.
