Allyn International Donates $2,000 to Harry Chapin Food Bank

Allyn International Services makes charitable contribution to local food bank during Coronavirus Outbreak.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 17, 2020) – Allyn International (Allyn), a local supply chain consulting firm, has donated $2,000 to Harry Chapin Food Bank. Each quarter at Allyn, an employee is given the opportunity to raise funds for a nonprofit of their choice. For Allyn’s second quarter of the year, the chosen charity was for Harry Chapin Food Bank.

Harry Chapin is the largest hunger relief network in Southwest Florida, serving Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties. Harry Chapin rescues, inspects, transports and distributes donated food and other grocery products to more than 150 partner agencies and programs that provide direct services to those in need. This includes food pantries, soup kitchens, in-school pantries, mobile pantries, senior programs, homeless shelters, disaster relief agencies and more. The food bank provides food for about 28,000 individuals each week. Allyn has been supporting Harry Chapin since 2009 and continues to do so in the future to support Southwest Florida.
