Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan promotes Hertz to partner

Scott Hertz

Fort Myers –– Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan, PLLC promotes Scott Hertz to partner of the law firm. Hertz brings extensive experience in construction law, contract law and litigation, commercial law and real estate litigation. He leads the Cape Coral office with plans on expanding the firm’s full-service capabilities in the city in the future.

“Scott has proven to be an extraordinary litigator and leader within our firm,” partner Frank Aloia Jr. said.  “He adds such value to our practice with his diversified knowledge as an attorney, Realtor® and contractor. As new challenges arise for clients in Southwest Florida, Scott has the know-how and skill to deliver in a way few attorneys can here in our market.”

And he has delivered, recently obtaining a judgment for $897,000 in a real estate fraud case for his client.

Hertz also represents clients in front of Southwest Florida government agencies dealing with licensing, permitting, land use issues and ordinances. Partnership disputes and business breakups are another area of representation.

Hertz has a strong background in construction and development. He was a builder/developer in Southwest Florida and earned licenses as a Realtor® and general contractor in the state. Hertz understands construction scope documents and plans to help resolve disputes more efficiently as an attorney.

“It’s an honor to join Aloia Roland and I expect to grow both personally and professionally by continuing to work with Frank Aloia, Jr. and Jack Morgan,” Hertz said. “I’m pleased to offer a full service of options to clients, particularly when combining the firm’s expertise in commercial transactional work for leases and real estate closings, with my litigation and land use practice. Often, my construction clients exclaim, ‘You just get it!’ I’m confident at the firm I’ll be supported to thrive as an entrepreneur while best serving my clients.”

Hertz’s broader experience includes technology industry experience at IBM Global Solutions, followed by the creation of his own technology consulting company, providing project management, system architecture and business process engineering for Fortune 1000 companies.

In the community, Hertz serves as the chairperson of the Lee County School Board District Advisory Council. He also is a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, the Lee County Bar Association, Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association, and as the General Counsel for the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association.
