Americasa Mortgage expands with new branch in Fort Myers

Americasa, a division of Nationwide Mortgage Bankers, has opened its newest branch office in Fort Myers.

The opening marks the latest step in the mortgage lender’s continued growth in the Sunshine State, following the November opening of Americasa’s new national headquarters in Miami— a facility that not only serves as a hub for training and operations but also offers the ability to support lending teams at offices across the United States.

Americasa is committed to home finance education, homeownership access, and community support for Hispanic families. With branch locations across Florida, Connecticut, New York and Texas, the company provides quality homeownership guidance and mortgage solutions to a community that has traditionally been underrepresented in many homebuying markets.

“Americasa’s Fort Myers office is another positive step in growing our capacity to educate, empower and support Hispanic families as they achieve their dream of homeownership,” said Yasser Valdés Herrera, Vice President of Americasa. “This new location on Florida’s west coast builds further on the momentum of our Miami headquarters to deliver homebuying and financing solutions to communities that may have had limited or no access to these resources in the past. We have an amazing team of experienced banking professionals advocating for consumers in vital communities surrounding Lee County.”

The Fort Myers facility is located at 7328 Sanibel Boulevard, just off South Tamiami Trail.

The office will be led by Branch Manager Pablo J. Moreno, who said, “Americasa has served many clients along Florida’s west coast and now planting our flag here with a new office in Fort Myers, we will expect to have an even greater impact in helping families pursue their dream of homeownership.”

Americasa focuses on personalized mortgage guidance, financial education, and support for clients with unique credit, income, or documentation situations. Available loan programs such as down payment assistance programs, ITIN mortgage options, foreign national loans and non-QM loan programs help clients navigate home financing when traditional mortgage options may not be fully tailored to their needs.

“Americasa’s success and growth is a powerful testament to the team, training and systems our company has in place to support its mortgage professionals and their clients,” said Michael Brennan, President of NMB. “Americasa and its regional leaders are succeeding in delivering better outcomes for families buying their dream home. That impact transcends language and cultural barriers, ensuring more communities have the tools, resources and financial education to thrive.”
